The Witches
The Witches — aka Jocelyn and Mariya (and me).
We call ourselves this because we feel like our relationship is something more than just an earthly bond. The three of us truly feel different about one another. I would describe our relationship as a mix of sisterhood, silliness, and a drop of bitchiness. Our first introduction as a trio goes back to 2019—which feels strange to type out, because I can’t remember a time when the three of us weren’t constantly relying on each other. Six years this November, actually.
The three of us are a constant stream of emotions, attitude, crafting, and complaining. If there’s one thing we know how to do, it’s vent. What I admire most about us is our ability to fight, talk it out when we’re upset, say exactly what we’re thinking, and always know that everything will be okay.
I once texted them late on a Saturday night—reading after a night out—that they were my “Carranams.” To all my Romantasy fans, you know what I’m talking about: a rare soul bond that allows one another to share magic and communicate telepathically. I couldn’t find a better description than that. We Witches are bonded, and I know that wherever we are and whatever we’re doing, we will always be there to comfort one another and talk it out.
